Coupons in your neighborhood paper
Did you know that some neighborhood newspapers carry coupon inserts? I do! I live in Ahwatukee and our the Ahwatukee Foothills papers have coupon inserts almost every week. The Red Plum insert that comes in the Sunday paper is usually in the Friday (the Friday before the coupon comes in the Sunday paper) neighborhood paper. The P&G inserts that come in the Sunday paper sometimes get repeated in the Wednesday neighborhood paper.
The thing about it is that many folks in your neighborhood don't read those neighborhood papers and often run them over and they litter the street. They end up in the middle of the streets, in the gutter, or in the garbage. That is so unfortunate. So...if you know that your neighbor doesn't read his paper, ask if you can have it. Then you'll get the coupons and you can recycle that paper before he throws it in the trash. And for those papers that float into the middle of the street and are now flat - take them, recycle them, and try to pry the coupons out if you still can.
